How we are minimising soil compaction

Compression from machinery traffic can be one of the key causes of soil compaction.
To minimise the impact on your property, all our trucks are fitted with low compaction tyres and our 2023 Scania P 410 is fitted with Central Tyre Inflation (CTI) capabilities.
The CTI system allows us to adjust tyre pressure while the vehicle is in motion. By decreasing tire pressure with CTI, the contact area between the tyre and the ground increases, spreading the vehicle's weight more evenly. This reduces the pressure exerted on the soil, minimising soil compaction.
Better traction helps prevent slippage and allows for more precise control when we are out in the field.
Healthier, un-compacted soil allows roots to penetrate deeper, accessing more nutrients and water, and ultimately producing better crops.
